Ingredients required:

  • 1 root of ginger
  • 1 kg. Sugar
  • 5 kg. Lemons
  • 2 liters of water


First peel the root of the ginger and chops it in to the little cubes. Chopped ginger put into the pan, on mild heat. Add sugar. Pour over with water, mix well and allow all the mixture to boil. Then leave to stand for 12 hours. Then squeeze the lemon and stir the mixture. The resulting syrup, pour it into a plastic bottle and store in refrigerator. Every day drink a cup of syrup dissolved in water (ratio of syrup/water is optional).
